Terms of Use

Last updated: 23 August 2026

These Terms of Use govern your access to BrayBill. By creating an account or using our website, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

BrayBill is an invoicing and collections platform. You can create invoices, manage clients, send payment links, accept payments through supported gateways, generate PDFs, and offer a client portal.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information
  • You must keep your login credentials confidential
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

3. Plans and fees

Some features require a paid subscription. Plan limits, such as invoice quotas, are shown on the pricing page and in your dashboard. Subscription fees are billed in advance for the selected period. We may change pricing with notice before your next renewal. Third-party payment processors may charge their own fees on client payments; those fees are between you, your client, and the processor.

4. Your content and invoices

You retain ownership of the invoices, client lists, and files you upload. You grant BrayBill a limited license to host, display, and transmit that content solely to operate the service (for example, rendering a PDF or showing a payment page to your client).

You represent that you have the right to upload that content and that it does not violate any law or third-party rights.

5. Payments you collect

BrayBill is not a bank or money transmitter. When your client pays an invoice, funds are processed by the gateway you configured (such as Stripe, PayPal, PayMongo, or a manual bank transfer). You are responsible for:

  • Configuring accurate gateway credentials
  • Complying with each processor’s terms and local tax rules
  • Resolving disputes, refunds, and chargebacks with your clients
  • Verifying manual bank or transfer proofs before marking invoices paid

6. Acceptable use

You may not use BrayBill to:

  • Send fraudulent, misleading, or unlawful invoices
  • Process payments for illegal goods or services
  • Harass, spam, or impersonate others
  • Probe, disrupt, or overload the service
  • Attempt to access another user’s account or data

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

7. Client portal

If you invite clients to the portal, they may view invoices and pay outstanding amounts. You are responsible for the invitations you send and for the information those clients can see.

8. Intellectual property

The BrayBill name, logo, interface, and software are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or resell the platform except as allowed by law.

9. Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that BrayBill will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that invoices or payments will meet every legal requirement in your jurisdiction. You remain responsible for your own tax, accounting, and compliance obligations.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BrayBill is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or missed payments. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using BrayBill at any time. We may suspend or close an account if you breach these terms, fail to pay, or create risk for other users. After termination, we may delete or anonymize your data after a reasonable retention period, except where we must keep records by law.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Contact

For questions about these terms, email support@braybill.com or use our contact page.
